We have successfully (it would appear) rebooted Willow. When we came home from hospital it seemed that young Willow had her days and nights mixed up. She slept longer during the day and seemed to spend more time awake at night. It looks like that we may have flipped that around and corrected it. Yay!!

Dont spend a heap of your hard earned money on prime cuts of meat because when its comes time to sit down and bite into that perfectly cooked medium rare piece of steak you can rest assured that one of your kids will **, which will mean that you end up eating your steak cold and dried later on.

So I went into the city today to buy Annabelle a push present today and as I was walking past a book store this book was screaming out to me. I have no idea how I even noticed it - it wasnt as if I stopped to look in the bookstore window. Infact I walked straight past the book store and then something made me turn around and walk back to the window. And in the window was this book. It was very uncanny.

Its the story of "Willow - the fairy of bravery". I just had to purchase it.
After much huffing and puffing from mum - and quite a long labour - baby Willow Lucinda Phoebe Gjessing was born on 20th January 2009 at 9.05pm. Welcome little one.

For those who want to know, 8 pounds and 50cm.
Special thanks to mum for all for hard work :)
We are at the hospital. It's 5.47am on January 20th 2009. We are about to have a baby.
It's estimated that by 2020, native English speakers will make up only 15% of the estimated 2 billion people who will be using or learning the language.
When Romilly says "Thomas is in the chicken" what she really means is "Thomas is in the kitchen". Chicken, kitchen, it's all the same.
Watched "Burn After Reading" last night. I didn't realise it was a comedy - the title and the cast suggested it was going to be a drama. I knew it was a spy/espionage movie but didn't fully know what to expect. It was excellent - extremely funny and comes highly recommended.
When I sleep I sleep on my side with my top arm hanging behind me on my back so to speak. It's an odd position to have my arm in bit I find it quite comfortable. Annabelle says that I am strange.
The interesting thing is that Romilly likes to sleep in the same way. It's a very unconventional way to lay with your arm so I am quite intrigued as to why she sleeps like this. Is it because of me? Is it just a coincidence? Surely not as she lays like this regularly. Has she observed me sleeping like this? It's possible but I don't think so. Is it in our genes? May be. I mean surely we would like similar things like foods etc so why isn't it possible we would find the same positions comfortable. We share similar genes afterall.
Bokeh (derived from Japanese, a noun boke 暈け, meaning "blurred or fuzzy") is a photographic term referring to the appearance of out-of-focus areas in an image produced by a camera lens using a shallow depth of field.[1] Different lens bokeh produces different aesthetic qualities in out-of-focus backgrounds, which are often used to reduce distractions and emphasize the primary subject.

As part of our 'nesting' moment, we are doing a major clean up at home. Culling books, Videos, PC parts and general house hold goods that we simply do not want anymore. So I organised with the council for them to come and collect all of our 'trash' (some of it we are taking to charity shops), and yesterday I put some 'trash' out on the sidewalk in preparation for it to be collected tonight.
Within a matter of a few hours most of it was gone though! Infact all of it was gone except for some off cuts of wood. It just shows you that one man's trash is another man's treasure.
