My brother, Mark and his wife, Maggie, have been staying with us for the last several weeks. They live in the UK and we normally catch up every couple of years, it was their 'turn' to head out to see us and dad. This visit was special, they got to meet 'Romers' and Romilly got to meet her uncle and auntie for the first time. Romilly took a particularly special liking to Aunt Maggie.

Three weeks just isnt long enough really. From left to right, dad, maggie, mark, romilly and me. Belle was the official photographer.

This week is quite an interesting week. Apart from the continued development of Romilly - who constantly amazes me.. she is making more and more talking sounds, appears to be sleeping longer, now wants to stand, almost is able to sit up of her own accord, always laughing and giggling, shrieking and woofing down solid foods - it is also the week where we head off for a couple of days to an Eco Retreat in the Blue Mountains with Annabelle's dad and his family, my brother and sister in law arrive from the UK for 3 weeks and today was my last day at work for 6 months.

Why wouldnt I be happy.
